Does not require powders, liquids or tablets to measure. Each strip is precisely impregnated with the chemistries needed to test for free chlorine, total chlorine, pH, total alkalinity and total hardness.

Suitable for:  fresh water samples, including water from taps, wells, springs, boreholes, ponds, as well as rain water

Contains: 50 test strips, each testing for each of the listed contaminants

Testing Levels:

• Free Chlorine: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 10 ppm
• Total Chlorine: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 10 ppm
• Total Alkalinity: 0, 40, 80, 120, 180, 240 ppm
• pH: 6.2, 6.8, 7.2, 7.8, 8.4
• Total Hardness: 0, 25, 50, 120, 250, 425 ppm

Directions:

1. Dip one test strip into water for 5 seconds.
2. Remove the strip and shake once to remove excess water.
3. Wait 25 seconds and compare your pH, alkalinity, free chlorine, total chlorine and hardness results with the chart on the bottle. Complete colour matching within 30 seconds.

General description: For semi-quantitative determinations. Detection method: colorimetric. Fast, simply dip and read indicator paper. Consists of a plastic strip with attached sealed test paper. Compare colour change of test paper with fields of equal size on colour chart.
