Description

These Chlorine Dioxide test strips provide fast and reliable monitoring of chlorine dioxide levels, including residuals. They are ideal in detecting high levels of chlorine dioxide from 0-500ppm in increments of 0, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500. Chlorine dioxide has a higher oxidation capacity than chlorine or ozone, which means lower concentrations of chlorine dioxide can be used to achieve effective disinfection. It can also be used when large amounts of organic matter are present.

Chlorine Dioxide is one of several oxides of chlorine, it is a potent and useful oxidising agent used in water treatment (desinfection) and in bleaching (it is mostly used for pulp bleaching in paper production). It is highly water soluble, especially in cold water.

How to Use:

1. Dip strip for 2 seconds into the water sample.
2. Remove the strip with the pad face up.
3. With pad still facing up, wait 10 seconds.
4. Compare with closest colour on colour chart.

Interferences: Test strip may react to other oxidizing materials, peracetic acid, peroxide, etcDetection limit 5ppm.
